Small, smart telescopes like the DWARF3 from Dwarflab or the S50 from Zwo Astro are able to take deep sky prictures without the steep learning curve needed with traditional mounts and picture processing. Though there are limits in quality and type of prictures - the options you still have and the output of these tiny telescopes is amazing.
